My vehicle has been towed away, what should I do now?

Bergnet provides towing services for various municipalities in The Netherlands. So yes, it is possible that Bergnet has towed your vehicle away on behalf of the municipality.

Where has my vehicle been towed?

Do you want to know to which location your vehicle has been towed? Then you can call Bergnet on +31 88-888 11 00 (standard rate). Have your license plate handy.

How can I collect my vehicle?

Has your car, motorcycle, moped or other vehicle been towed away and do you want to collect it?

For the places Almere, Blaricum, Bussum, Eemnes, Huizen, Laren, Muiden and Naarden the following applies:

1. You can collect your vehicle from Bergnet during opening hours (Dutch). Take a valid proof of identity with you. You cannot collect your car without showing us your ID.
2. You sign a form with which you confirm that the vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was left behind. The name and address details, the license plate number and date / time of collection are noted on the form.
3. The costs for towing away will be charged to you by the municipality.
4. Pick-up outside opening hours is also possible, but has an additional cost of approximately € 50 (this varies per municipality).

The following applies to the towns of Amersfoort, Bunschoten-Spakenburg, Leusden, Nijkerk and Scherpenzeel:

1. You can pick up your vehicle at Bergnet Amersfoort during opening hours. Take a valid proof of identity with you. You cannot collect your car without showing us your ID.
2. You sign a form with which you confirm that the vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was left behind. The name and address details, the license plate number and date / time of collection are noted on the form.
3. You must pay the costs at Bergnet Amersfoort, instead of at the municipality itself. You can pay by debit card or cash (exact amount only, no change).
4. Pick-up outside opening hours is also possible, but has an additional cost of approximately € 50 (this varies per municipality).
